Andrea Lo Ciccio -- erm, I mean, Lo Cicero...When you attend a rugby game in Rome, you don’t expect it to be under pouring rain.

(you also don’t expect to see Andrea Lo Cicero sporting almost the same hair-style as Mirco Bergamasco… ah, well, whatever.)

Trouble is when you attend a rugby game in Rome there’s a fat chance you can sit in a shedded stand — I mean, Stadio Flaminio has only one shedded stand and that’s the main rugby stadium in Rome, do you think Stadio Tre Fontane is shedded then? Of course not, there’s just a mini-shed “for authorities”, and that’s in the (empty) stand opposite to the one we were. Meh. So yesterday I bravely stood in the rain taking pics of the game while it was literally pouring in buckets (to the extent I was worried for my camera) and all I’ve earned is a bad cold and every single bone in my body aching like I’d been crushed in between a scrum. Ouch.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, le Racing-Métro 92 s’est imposé 53 à 3 sur la pelouse du Stadio Tre Fontane face au Rugby Roma Olimpic pour le compte de la quatrième fois journée du Challenge Européen.

And merci beaucoup.

Meanwhile, in Edinburgh, My Favourite Ones won the game against Bath. Under the snow. But at least Murrayfield stands are completely shedded…

I would’ve loved to be there. Le sigh.

  1. Stef Said,

Why is a vest saying “RATP” so much cooler than one that says “Acotral”?
    :-)

  2. spora Said,

figata tutti quei ragazzoni intinti nel fango :)

  3. Fiore Said,

Congrats for the snowy win! Bath is slowly going down the…sink! sigh!
