Since they maybe thought I hadn’t seen it on the website yet, dear lovely Edinburgh Rugby people sent me the e-zine to make sure I knew about the new, special 1872 Cup jersey:
Honest, you’re way too kind, you shouldn’t have, really.
Be fair – it reads like the copywriters were trying to keep a straight face (more than their models managed) whilst avoiding saying anything actually positive. And I’m guessing “hoping it’ll become a collector’s item” continues “and never worn again”.
Maybe target market is old grannies purchasing xmas presents? Blind old grannies. Blind old grannies who hate their grandkids and have cut them out the will…
