So, it’s GGD tomorrow – and I’ve got nothing to wear!

Jokes aside, I still don’t know what to expect from that and I don’t really know who will be attending.

As for today, I feel a little blah this morning, as I missed a deadline I was trying not to miss – I’m not really complaining about that, as it’s all my fault, didn’t try hard enough, serves me right etc. Well, there would be no use in complaining anyway, as nothing can be done to change this right now.

But, for once, although I’m a little worried, I’m not panicking, which in my book is a great achievement. I think I have a pretty clear vision of what I need and must do now. And, above all, I will do that.

Also, since I’ll be at the GGD tomorrow, I won’t be able to follow the Dragons vs. Edinburgh game, which is a bit annoying – kick off will be at 18.30 (19.30 Italy’s time), and by then I’ll be at the dinner’s venue, and I don’t think they’d like it if I went there wearing a red and black polo shirt, as there’s “girl” before “geek”, so I suppose I’m also expected to pay attention to fashion et al… oh, well.

Meanwhile, good news are Mike Blair – who, alas, won’t be playing tomorrow – has been shortlisted for the 2008 IRB Player of the Year Award, together with Italy’s Sergio Parisse – first Italian player ever been nominated -, Wales’ Ryan Jones and Shane Williams, and New Zealand’s Dan Carter, who already won the award back in 2005. Congrats to all!

Anyway, here’s the squad for tomorrow (Mossy starting again at full-back, yes!):

Edinburgh: 15 Chris Paterson, 14 Andrew Turnbull, 13 Hugo Southwell, 12 Nick De Luca, 11 Mark Robertson, 10 Phil Godman, 9 Greig Laidlaw, 8 Allister Hogg (c), 7 Alan MacDonald, 6 Matt Mustchin, 5 Jim Hamilton, 4 Craig Hamilton, 3 Geoff Cross, 2 Ross Ford, 1 Allan Jacobsen.
Replacements: 16 Andrew Kelly, 17 Gavin Kerr, 18 Ben Gissing, 19 Scott Newlands, 20 Ben Meyer, 21 David Blair, 22 Jim Thompson.
